Continuing to march into the world of electrification, Peugeot have now launched a battery-powered variant of the Rifter.

Capable of a range of up to 171 miles under a single charge (according to WLTP figures) the new e-Rifter is built on the company’s multi-energy EMP2 platform and comes equipped with the familiar 136bhp powertrain that is present on some of their other EV offerings. The 50kW battery can be charged from a 7.4kW wallbox in 7.5 hours with the standard 7.4kW single-phase charger, or in 5 hours if equipped with the optional 11kW three-phase charger. More importantly the car can be charged to 80% in just 30 minutes by a 100kWh rapid charger.

Audi e-tron GT
